Rev. Terry Dougherty came to Pleasant Retreat UMC following appointments to First United Methodist Church, Brenham and Lee Chapel UMC, Bryan.

Before serving as a full time pastor in 2006, Rev. Dougherty worked as a Christian Education Director, public school teacher, counselor and most recently, as the founding director of a Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliate in Bryan/College Station.

She is married to Ed, a professor at Texas A&M. Together they have three sons, all college graduates living on their own!
