About PRUMC

Welcome to Pleasant Retreat United Methodist Church of Thorndale, Texas.
We invite you to come and meet our pastor, Pastor Terry Dougherty.

SUNDAY SUPPER AND A STORY

When: 2nd and 4th Sunday in June, July and August

Place: Fellowship Hall and/or homes of participants (your choice)

What: Each week we will discuss one of the stories Jesus told as a parable. Each Sunday the lesson is new so come as often as you are able.

Book: Parables from the Back Side by J. Ellsworth Kalas (cost is $10)

Note: Pastor Terry will preach on the parables on Sunday mornings during the summer months.


Adult Sunday School	9:45 - 10:45
Worship Service	11:00 - 12:00
Sunday School classes for children and youth	10:15 - 11:00

Groups & Meetings

LAMBS - Women's Group meets every Tuesday from 10 am to noon.

Bacon, Bull, & Blessings - Men's Group meets every second Saturday at 8 am.

Youth Group - Meets every Sunday from 12 - 2 directly following church. (7th through 12th Grades)

Prayer Meeting - Wednesdays @ 6:45

Choir Practice - Wednesdays @ 7:30
